Socom 4 cover system

Whut do you guys think of this addition to the game. Its been confirmed by the developers that is in the game. From what I heard its not gonna be like red deads cover where you "snap to cover". Basically in red dead, you hit a button and it glues you to the cover. Sometimes it might glue you to the wrong object or wrong side of the object.
In socom, its gonna be a cover system where you need to hold a button to stay in cover like rainbow six vegas. This system I like much better than rdr because I don't want the game tellin me where I can and can't take cover which might end up getting u killed a few times.
I'm not sure how I feel about it personally but ill probaly develop an opinion once multiplayer footage is shown using a dualshock3 remote. Whut uz think?

Also when I get home later, ill try n remember to link some vids of the cover system in action using the move for those of you who havnt seen it yet

i wuoldnt mind it in the online too, but it might make camping worse

its definetly in the multiplayer. no blind firing so thats a good thing. think you can hurdle shit too. zipper does a podcast every friday where they talk about mag and socom and they mentioned those things in one of em.

a lot of ppl are saying that. but if u think about it, we kinda always had a cover system in place (corner camping), just w/o being stuck to there cover. hopefully i can get in the beta a try it for myself to see if i like it

here's a 6minute vid showin the mover and cover. theres also destructible environments which is cool. hopefully u can limit "cover campers" by destroying it

Personally I think everybody who plays Confrontation now should be able to play the beta.. simply because we have all stuck with is even though its so crappy...

I know its two diff developers but the die hard socom fans ( LIKE US) should atleast get a shot at it.. Especially because they look for feedback from the people who get to play it. I dont want some socom nooby giving the wrong advise as too what they think the game should be like. Thats just my opinion though.
